If you’ve had enough of your back pain, that’s why you’re watching this video. So, let me tell you how our office, Arizona Chiropractic Center, will take care of your back pain. I’m Dr. Christopher Cotch, and welcome.

Your First Visit

The first thing we’re going to do—if you have already received your paperwork, then you will have brought that preprinted paperwork, all filled out, and you’ll give it to our front receptionist. Fantastic.

If you haven’t, no problem. We’ll just give you the paperwork, and then you can follow me into this room over here. This comfortable reception area is where you will complete that paperwork. After having completed the paperwork, you just bring it back up to the front desk here.

After giving it to the receptionist, she will bring you back for your consultation and exam. So, let’s talk about that as we walk. Follow me.

Your Consultation and Exam

This is the front desk area. We have a therapy room over here, which we’ll discuss in just a moment.

If you’re going to get the best results, we have to find out exactly what’s causing your problems, right? Make sense? So, this is how we do this.

This is where we take a detailed history and do an examination. We’ll do a neurological exam, an orthopedic exam, and a biostructural exam that’ll help us determine how your brain is talking to your body and your body is talking back to your brain, and see where you’re compensating.

After finding out and kind of winnowing out all of these different issues, we’ll do X-rays. Because if we’re going to adjust you, we want to know in great detail exactly how we’re going to take care of you. So, X-rays are a great tool.

Your Second Visit and First Adjustment

At the end of this first visit, we will schedule you for your day two. Your day two is when we’ll go over your report of findings and give you the best recommendations for care.

That’s also when you’re going to get your first adjustment. It’s a very exciting time for us. We love this day because this is really when you start healing.

So, assuming this is your second visit now, this is what we’re going to do. We’re going to go back into one of the adjusting rooms, and we’re going to start with an adjustment.

Chiropractic adjustment is the number one way that we will take care of your low back pain.

Different Ways We Can Adjust You

There are different ways that we can get adjusted, and Dr. Cretzinger is going to demonstrate an adjustment using an ArthroStim. The ArthroStim is a high-speed, low-force adjusting tool, which is very comfortable.

You can see that it’s very comfortable to receive this adjustment, and there’s no popping, no twisting, no cracking—none of those things that can sometimes scare people.

Drop Adjustment

The next adjustment he’s going to perform is a drop adjustment. The table elevates about an inch or two, and then, when he pushes down in the area—it all depends on how the patient is misaligned—he’s going to demonstrate exactly how that adjustment is made and how the body is put into the proper alignment.

The Gonstead Method

The next adjustment that we’re going to demonstrate is the Gonstead method. Our office utilizes Gonstead analysis, and it’s very biomechanically accurate.

I’ll move this laser out of the way, and I’ll describe the laser in a second.

This side-posture adjustment is very, very specific and accurate, and usually feels amazingly comfortable. It’s as simple as that. So, that is really good.

Laser Treatment

This laser is another treatment. The laser is going to increase ATP production, which means we’re going to get you out of pain quickly.

The very first FDA approval was in 2002, and since then, this company that we utilize for all of our lasers is the one that is going to be used in all of your treatments, should we recommend that for your care.

It’s painless. It does not cut, does not burn, and it actually feels really comfortable.

That being said, let’s discuss some other possible options for your care.

Spinal Decompression Therapy

If you have a disc issue, if you have a herniation, if you have a disc bulge, what do we do at that point? You are not necessarily a surgical candidate.

I myself have had a disc injury—a big injury—and the best thing that I could have done was get all the treatment here in this office, because this table right here is a spinal decompression therapy table.

It helps open the joint spaces and close them. Open and close. It helps. It feels good. It takes the pressure off of those super-choked nerves, and it’s very restorative. It can actually heal that disc from the inside out.

Shockwave Therapy

Another therapy that we find very, very popular in the office is shockwave therapy. Shockwave therapy is a sound wave. It’s not ultrasound, so it doesn’t create heat, but it’s a sound-wave therapy that goes deep into your tissue.

All those tight spots that are really restrictive, where you can’t move and you’re very achy—this helps restore those and increase that slide and glide. It’s an amazing sensation. It feels like you’ve never had anything like it before.

It’s one of the fan favorites in here, which is why we have two shockwave machines now.

The FX 405 Laser

Another option for treating your low back pain is the best laser in the world. The first and only chronic low back pain clearance laser is this FX 405.

There are different types of lasers, like I talked about. This is the best laser in the country for low back pain. There are different colors that you can see. There’s violet. There’s red. There are variable positions for this.

So, no matter what you’re going through, we can address it with this laser.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy

There are two different therapy machines here for pulsed electromagnetic field therapy. Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy is an electromagnetic impulse. It’s not electrical. It’s an energy wave that goes deep through your connective tissue.

Nothing’s going to stop it, and it heals you from the inside out. You don’t just feel better; you are better.

Depending on what’s going on with you and what your particular problem is, there are different attachments we can put at your low back. We can open up the SI—all sorts of different ways that we can apply this directly to your particular problem.

A Unique Approach to Low Back Pain

Of course, we have electrical stimulation, which is a pretty standard one. But everything else in here is very unique, and it kind of sets our office apart with our very special and unique way of taking care of your low back pain.

So, you don’t have to suffer. Give us a call, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
